Polish Table

This table is a stand alone member of POLring - the Polish webring

• Ewa also called Wika and Kita. We've been wandering for hours around Poznan, city where both of us were born, and - then - beginning to grow up... OK, so - she was my first great love and I was hers... Then we both got married. Each of us with someone else. Life, isn't it?
  But we have good memories.
• Tomasz Wojcik - my teacher of comparative linguistics represents the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan. Tomasz, bright linguist and excellent teacher, spoke some twenty languages, was able to communicate in another twenty... And with all this he was the most modest person I've ever known.
• Jozef Pieprzyk journalist, researcher, folklorist and historian - my first teacher of all these. Born in Southern Wielkopolska (means 'Greater Poland') region, called Biskupizna. Always full of energy, ready to give you a reason to laugh and a wise advice at the same time...
• Mr. Lewna - Kaszub (or Kaszeba); at the time we've met he was Chairman of Stowarzyszenie Kaszubskie (regional association) in Northern Poland. My wife's family comes from this region and her mothers maiden name was... Exactly!
  But the main reason for Mr. Lewna's being here are his open mind and his ideas on modern regionalism
• Mariusz - Virtual Poland. He was the guy, that allowed me to touch a computer for the fist time. It was a Mac that had enormous memory of 128 K... Yuppp! Kilobytes! Well, it was some twenty years ago... I have no idea where is he now and whether he has anything to do with the 'Virtual Poland'; but I don't see any better place for him.
