Recipe for dissolving stones in water.

Wash twenty grams of granite pebbles
in water.
Rinse and dry
and set aside.
Prepare two litres
of fresh water,
(rain is best
or melted snow).
Pour the water,
slowly
into a bowl,
listening to the sound
and watching for small bubbles.
Wait until the water
has calmed
and every ripple
bubble and
disturbance is gone.
Gently drop each granite pebble
in the water -
one at a time.
Sit and watch
(with quiet concentration)
as the stones dissolve.

It may take some time.
