It took me a while to decide on these shoes. I actually bought some navy blue shoes but I didn’t like the way they looked
I was out shopping today. This recession is a killer and I have be personally affected financially as have most Americans.
But it is always fun to go to department stores on Saturdays as the cosmetic departments is just filled with women
There are always representatives from the various companies there doing makeovers.
Even if you are not as insane as I ma about makeup, you probably love the cosmetic department
It is filled with women who are almost always overlay made-up (OK maybe not at Clinique or Origins
18 And they are all over dressed , wearing heels and hose even though they are on their feet all day
I just love it there, the women give me inspiration
And thank goodness for cell phones too. It used to be that if I spotted a woman I wanted a good look at I had to cleverly walk past 2 or 3 times. Or I might ask for directions
But now I can just pretend someone has called me and I stop, pretending to talk on my cell phone. I did this today at the Mac counter
And if they are wearing something I like, I just ask them what it is
I was in a Mac store before the holidays, and there was an older woman working there who has a great makeup job. She had amazing red lipstick on, so I just asked her what it was. I bought it, and another lipstick and 4 brushes and blush and 2 lip liners
A few weeks later I strolled past and she waved to me “How is that lipstick working out?” So I went in and bought some more stuff!
