This is a pant suit I got at Dress Barn last week
I think the sales girls has figured me out, ‘cause she has a lot of suggestions when I got this
Then she actually asked “Is this for your…..”? leaving the answer open. “My alter ego” I said smiling. She replied You and your alert ego are always welcome at Dress barn”. This was at the Dress Barn in Wrenthem , Massachusetts.
I often wear pants when I have stuff to do, and this day I did plenty, including organizing my taxes. For the first time ever, in my history of taxes, I had everything where it should be
Now it’s April. Spring here in Massachusetts. It was almost 40 degrees here today---brrr. I was in downtown Boston today, and because the sun was shining everyplace was packed with people.
As I walked down Newbury Street I saw all the people who were rushing the season-- 20 somethings in shorts, out of towners in golf shirts. Bostonians know. Like me they were dressed warmly with winter coats and scarves and glove. Except a certain group of women.
You see a whole group of women were dressed in high Jimmy Choo’s or Manhalno Blanik’s, short skirts and NO HOSIERY!
PS those are some new Bali Skimp Skamp floral briefs!
So not only did everyone get to see them shivering, but we got to see their horrible white legs that have been covered all winter. How attractive.
Contrast this to my reason for being in Boston, to see an attorney. Even all a Saturday she was dressed in a blue business suit, pumps and some nice beige hosiery. My guess is Donna Karan
I saw the movie “Flawless” this week with Demi Moore. Good movie. Demi, who I have never been a huge fan of, looks great in all those 1960’s outfits. My one criticism is that that she should probably have had seamed stockings on. Maybe not—1906. Anyone know if the change to seamless had started?
My lady friend dozed off during the movie. We are getting to that age aren’t we? I was too busy imagining what Demi might have worn under all those wonderful outfits!
I have only fallen asleep once during a movie. I was dragged to this French movie that had all these homely women discussing failed relationships in every scene. And I found it was part of a trilogy
My goodness does Kim Kardashian have a great figure! What a “booty” to be sure!
She could become one of the new icons for us "girls", if she hasn't already
