So I haven't written anything here in a while. I have been keeping up with my running mostly. Most of my miles have been on the treadmill. I'm debating between 2 half marathons that are on the same day--either the Long Branch half or the Runner's World Half. I need to decide soon and sign up for one.
I had a good run on Saturday. It was about 58*, but kinda windy. I decided to brave the great outdoors and try out my Garmin Forerunner for the first time. I did the 6 mile course and the Forerunner agreed that it was 6 miles. (It came out as 6.08 to be exact.) Overall pace of 9:05 minute miles. Felt really good.
Sunday it was raining, so back to the basement and the treadmill. I ran 6.6 in an hour and 5 minutes. It felt ok.
I'm at 83.73 miles for January, so far. My goal for January was 90 miles. I think I can still make it if I do a short run or walk tonight and then 5 miles tomorrow.
