I was happily surprised to receive a bronze medal in the mail yesterday!  It was an age group award for the 10K race I ran on April 16.  I finished in 58:19 and was 5/10 in my age group.  I think I got the bronze because they didn't do dupilicate awards.  It was funny because we waited around (for quite a while) for the awards ceremony.  DH won a bronze medal while we were there, although the website says that he should have won silver.  I didn't get anything while we we there, and then the medal in the mail yesterday.  Anyway, I'm pleased.  A little something to add to my running collection!
