So the DMV is now the MVC (motor vehicle commission).  There is a whole 6 points of ID system for driver's licenses.  I brought my birth cerificate, marriage license, new social security card, old driver's license, passport, and a bank statement.  That was probably overkill, but better safe than sorry.  With all those documents, the whole process was quite easy.  It took about half an hour and I had my new DIGITAL driver's license in hand.  Woohoo!  It's got holograms and ghost photos and everything!

So now onto banks, credit cards, and miscellaneous stuff...
