| The weather was perfect on Saturday for the block party. We went about 3pm and stayed till at least 11pm. We definitely had fun. There was lots of good food and beer. They had a DJ who did a pretty good job. They had a giant ice block with tracks chiseled out for doing ice cold shots. I did a few too many of those, as did my DH. Later on in the night, after dark, I was running around after my friends daughter. She on her bike with me chasing on foot. It was fun!
Sunday was a lazy day, after all the partying on Saturday. I did get out for a 3.5 mile run about 6pm. I might have been flipped off by a pair of bikers. They were making an odd gesture in my general directions with what looked to be their middle fingers. I dunno what I did that would have provocked this, but oh well!
About 7:30 - 8pm, while we were eating dinner, we saw lots of hot air balloons from the nearby Balloon Festival fly overhead. It was very cool seeing many colorful balloons drifting off towards the sunset. Too bad I didn't take any pictures.
So that was my weekend!
