You must be going, "Who is this Mike person and why is this page named after him?". Oh alright, he's this special person in my life (I'll leave it up to you to guess what kind =) ). Once upon a time, when he had the time, he sent me these really cool e-mails, mostly jokes and stuff and well... you know, I just can't take all the credit for the good stuff here. He's also the one who introduced me to my latest favorite group.... who else but...

The Corrs

are a way famous Irish band. I first heard of them when they came to perform at the Fashion Cafe in April, 1998. They make really good music with the use of traditional Irish instruments. That and the perfect blending of Andrea, Sharon, Caroline and Jim's voices made them a sure hit. I mean, after only a couple of weeks after their Fashion Cafe gig, already it's hard to find a record store with their album still in stock...

5D

This may take a bit of practice...

This is a 5-dimensional picture. You are supposed to look at it in a certain way until you discover the three-dimensional image that lies within. I am no good at this kind of stuff but maybe you'll have better luck (ehe!). Below are the instructions on how to do it (according to Mike):

The Dancer

I almost fell off my chair when I saw this one. I wanted it in my website in such a way like the games at Garfield's Site and E-Online. Unfortunately, I don't know how to do that yet... =( ... so you'll just have to download the file first. I think it needs that Shockwave thingy. I'm not entirely sure, but if you don't have it, go ahead and download it anyway :)

Jack and Rose

Huhuhu... would you believe I've seen this movie a dozen times... without Mike? When we we first met, this movie was the one hitting the big screen. In my lifetime, as far as I could remember, this was the longest playing movie in the history of my movie-going career. It first came on just before Christmas... and it was still showing by the time my next birthday came along, 4 months later! I've watched it in the big screen only about a couple of times, but when I got the video some months later, I watched it over and over again. That part where Jack was telling Rose not to give and up and let go (shucks! Kleenex alert!)... always makes me cry, as in! One time at the movies, I was practically bawling by the time it ended. And just like Rose... I can never truly let go...

"He exists now, only in my memories..."
