Be merciful to me,
O God be merciful to me--
When men surround me in their pride
And try to draw me from Your side,
Let me not forget Your Son who died--

Stand with me-- strengthen me--
O God be merciful to me.
O God, whose Word I praise--
O Lord, whose Word I praise--
In God I trust, I will not be afraid,
What can man do unto me?

Be merciful to me,
O God be merciful to me--
When evil sends a beckoning call
And sets a snare so I may fall,
God gives me victory over all--

Stand with me-- strengthen me--
O God be merciful to me.
O God, whose Word I praise--
O Lord, whose Word I praise--
In God I trust, I will not be afraid,
What can man do unto me?

God is calling the nations;
Listen and hear His cry!
He stretched out His hand to save us,
He sent His son to die.
God has brought us salvation
Through forgiveness of our sin;
He brings us from darkness into the light
When we open our hearts and let Jesus in!
O God, whose Word I praise--
O Lord, whose Word I praise--
In God I trust, I will not be afraid,
What can man do unto me?

In a world where it seems that evil has rule,
Where a wise man is made to seem like a fool,
When goodness brings scorn, and hatred brings praise,
And men ask, where is God in these terrible days;
Well, God's on His throne, He's enthroned in my heart,
And when I'm assailed by these fiery darts,
I lift up my heart, and my head and my hands,
And I lift up my voice, for God moves in the land!

I know God's Word is true,
So I lift my cry to you, O God --

I expect a miracle, I expect to see you move,
Every day I long to see your power from above.
Moving mountains to the sea, setting every captive free,
I expect to see lives change by the power of your love.

God never changes, He is forever the same.
He gives us power and authority in Jesus' name.
He won't leave or forsake us, He holds us in His hand,
And the Devil can't defeat us when we stand!

So expect a miracle, every time you see a need;
Know that all God's promises are true, as they have always been.
By God's power men are healed every time His Truth's revealed.
When you expect a miracle, then miracles are seen.


Sometimes sickness and sorrow may look like they reign;
Sometimes it seems that life's just meant for pain.
Doubts and uncertainties might fill my head,
But I fight them away, for I know what God said:
Christ bore our sorrow and sickness and pain
And took it all captive when He rose to reign.
And He is my help, and my hope, and my king,
So I lift up my voice, and my heart, and I sing!

I know God's Word is true,
So I lift my cry to you, O God --

I expect a miracle, I expect to see you move,
Every day I get a glimpse of your power from above.
You move mountains to the sea, You set every captive free,
And I know my life is changed by the power of Your love.
