The Phoenix
She now rises proudly
undaunted to all.
The swift mighty Phoenix
that some thought would fall.
From ashes of sadness
and years full of pain,
A distant dim memory
only remains.
Replaced is a feeling of hope
and of pride.
A true understanding with
nothing to hide.
Some thought it would crush
her.
Some thought she would fall.
But the swift mighty Phoenix
now laughs at them all.
Undaunted, untarnished, she
now is set free.
She will savor the goodness
of all that will be.
