This page will provide several links to different downloads you can use on the Net, and give some links to areas of public concern I think are important.
This first link will send you directly to mIRC, one of the most popular chat programs available today. There are literally hundreds of IRCs to choose from, using mIRC, but one of the most popular is DAL.net. Although I do from time to time venture out onto the other IRCs, you will most often find me in DAL.net; usually hanging out in #Dreamers_Bar or #!!Da_Bangin_Bar_&_Grille either late at night or early in the mornings.
This link will get you to the homepage for ICQ, which is a very popular program for both messaging fellow ICQ users and for chatting. ICQ is a little different from the IRCs in the fact that all users have to have the ICQ program, whereas with the IRCs you can use one of many programs to connect to the different IRCs.
This link will take you to the main page for the campaign that has spread country-wide to bring to public awareness the dangers of food-borne bacteria. Lately we all have been reading more often about different tainted foods being recalled, and about food poisoning dangers in the foods prepared in the home. This information site will help every individual to better protect themselves and their families from the sometimes-deadly bacteria found in food products we all consume on a daily basis.
This next link will provide you access to my favorite browser. I do not claim to be an expert in the matter of browsers, or much else for that matter, but personally I like Netscape much better than Internet Explorer (or Nutscrape and Infernal Exploder as they are sometimes jokingly referred to), and although I have both loaded I find myself using Netscape almost exclusively. About the only thing I use Explorer for is to go to the Game Zone which will not allow you to use Netscape to enter, most likely because it is owned/operated by MicroSoft so why not keep the monopoly going??? Anyway, this link will get you to Netscape's home page, where you can get the newest version of Netscape, or find the link to get you to the archives if you want one of the older versions.
