Dining Room

For the Dining Room, a different decorative scheme was chosen. The theme here is life at Wartburg Castle at the time of the Singer's Contest (12th cent.), which features so prominently in Wagner's Tannhäuser. The table centrepiece is a gilded bronze statuette of Siegfried fighting the dragon, Fafnir, from Act 2 of Wagner's Siegfried.
