Mom's First Years
Glad the baby's finally come
Now you can start with all the fun,
Dirty diapers, throwing up
Oh my gosh, tis time to sup!
Bath the babe, put her to bed,
Now to relax, get something read.
What's that sound? OHNONONO!
Baby's up and screaming so!
It's 3am, with eyes half shut
Bouncing off the doors and such,
You pick her up, she sweetly sighs
When you begin the lullabye.
Now babe's asleep and mom's awake
And now you know what it will take
To get you through these tiny years,
You'll stay sane and shed some tears
But, love, you'll always be her mom
And that's the bestest love of all.
