The Sweetest Love Story
The Sweetest Story

Thy Name is Love

My heart aches to feel your touch so sweet,
Tis such a pain knowing we have yet to meet
Hear my soul cry as I search for thine heart,
To be my soul mate forever, to ne're be apart.

Thy wondrous ways are but a dream in this hour,
Time stands still as I picture thee in my power
Entranced by my beauty and features softly fair,
I whisper e're so gently thine name in the air.

Love is thy name and I shall treasure it forever,
Two souls as one ne're the line to be sever'd
Entwining together like the vines in the trees,
Thy love flowing deeply, and with such ease.

I would hold love tenderly close to my breasts,
Love would mean more than words can express
Death would be sweeter than without love be
If this must be so, let my tears fill the sea.

Oh, Aphrodite, goddess of love and all such desires,
Can thee not send love to me to quench these fires?
See into this impoverished soul the anguish deep,
Free me from this yearning, or let me forever sleep.
