Testimony of Love
When first my eyes doth set upon your face
this heart beat so rapidly, and at such a pace
I thought Id perish in the sight of such wonder.
Neer have I seen such a beauty to ponder.
Time stood still and the world ceased to exist
and my soul, such as it is, could naught resist
the exquisite charms of one so lovely to behold.
I knew that our destiny was thus foretold.
We strol'd at length through fields of flowers
conversing on life, while exploring castle towers
as your spirit began to entwine with my heart.
Cupids arrow had finally found its mark.
Tis not a falsehood to say youre my passion
eer a moment apart, and I m off in a fashion
promising only in death will I be deprived of you.
I know that our love will always be true.
