Life in the FAT Lane (Nov/05

November, 2005

After many months of editing, the final version arrived on my doorstep in November of 2005.

In November, I went to Quesnel for the Farmer's Market and sold quite a few copies. The day prior to the sale, Annie Gallant (Cariboo Observer reporter) did an awesome article on me, which helped the book sales.

There are 250 recipes, tried and true. All of them either appeared in the Quesnel Cariboo Observer during the 12 years I did the column for them, or were a standard favourite of my mom's when I was growing up.

The majority of them do not take any special ingredients and they are all pretty quick and simple to make. It has been dubbed "The everyday cookbook" and I have to agree... these are the simple everyday recipes that people make for their families.

If you are interested in obtaining a copy for yourself, they are $20.00 Canadian plus any shipping required to mail it to you.
