4oz dark chocolate
4 eggs
1/2 pint cream
1 tbsp brandy (i've never put this in as it's always been for
muslims)
separate eggs. chopp choc roughly, put into ttopp of a
double saucepan;
stir over hot water till melted. remove from heat, cool a
little, then
blend in egg yolks one at a time. beat till mixture is
smooth and thick.
fold in whipped cream, brandy if used, then stiffly beaten egg
whites.
spoon into serving dish/s and refrigerate till firm. top
with whippped
cream and grated chocolate (and strawberries, marshmallows,
nonpariels. . .
. . .)(actually folding tiny marshmallows and chocolate chips
through isn't bad either!!!)
or layer this in a parfait glass with strawberry mousse!
