Dear Readers and fellow web surfers
There can not always be words to express the emotions felt
when love and sharing exists in such magnitude as this.
I have been touched by an Angel named Patti and write now
this small piece in honor of her unknown friendship to me

Bits and Pieces of Patti

Brought down in her prime and left to her bed
with a screen to allow soul and spirit be fed
by a villianous bullet from evil's cowardly show
She came to me from a distance unknown.

Some words passed between strangers in electronic form
telling me of sharings and the warm friendships born
And how she would send some words that I typed
with others that seemed to see the word's light.

I'm told this made a smile cross her face
and she liked the tranquility of my place
I'm told she has past yet still makes hearts sing
in Bits and Pieces of Patti on Heavenly wing.

It draws me forward and makes me recall
that peace and love is here for us all
We only must reach out and show what we can
to each living soul, be it woman or man.

To see the unfairness of life turning round
by a lady who still found beauty abound
Then through her sharings with people unknown
left Bits and Pieces of Patti for love to be shown.

Dedicated to**Patti**
A Lady I wish I had had the honor of meeting.
May the Angels treat You with the kindness You gave on earth.

Thank you, Larry and Patti's other friends, for allowing me
to "know" Patti and the legacy of love she left behind.

***email from one of Patti's friends "introducing" me to Patti***

Katie,
Thanks for writing back. I know it is not as exciting
emailing across town as across the world. But it still
amazes me how something started here, traveled around the
world, and ended back here. Like I said in my other email,
Patti Anne was a quad from a gunshot during a car jacking.
I was searching for email pen pals that were handicap.
I spend most of my time in a wheelchair from Multiple Sclerosis.
Patti thought your site had the best poetry and she let
everybody know it. Anyway, when Patti died it was sudden
and no one could understand why. So, like the typical people
we are, we started passing bits and pieces of Patti around.
You know, favorite sites, little sayings, and such.
Your site was coming back from people on the other side of
the world. From countries I never heard of. People she had
sent your site to for the poetry and the peace it brought.
Anyway, this all brought a piece of Patti back to us.
Thanks! Larry
