Sleep till Noon
I hate waking up in the morning,
I don't like the world that I find;
I've started to dread
Struggling out of my bed
And leaving my dreams behind.

Sleep till noon,
Sleep till noon---
My bed is a boat
On a lazy Tahitian lagoon.
While the palm trees are swaying,
A male voice is saying,
"My darling,
"Sleep till noon."

My dreams do not reveal of him
The details of his face;
It's the touch, the feel of him
I could never replace.

Sleep till noon,
Sleep till noon---
The world is a world
With a magical mystical moon.
While an oboe is playing,
A male voice is saying,
"My darling,
"Sleep till noon,
"Sleep till noon."
