Why Not Now?

This is one of the songs from my musical, Masquerade. It's an adaptation
of two Moliere comedies combined, The Imaginary Invalid and A Doctor
in Spite of Himself. If you click on the couple below, it will take you
to a wild satire of the medical profession in 17th Century France.

My Aunt Hélène had great idealism,

"I will not compromise---I'll just embroider."

So she would sit and weave her laces
