......An Open Letter to my Friend
Dear Forever Friend,
As I go about my busy day, you come to my
thoughts so many times. In whatever I am
doing, it somehow brings to mind you and all
of the history that we have passed as friends.
The late night chats, our seemingly endless
days of travel and adventure. The Times
we've laughed, sometimes just because if we
didn't, the only alternative was to cry. The
times we cried because it healed our hurts. It
seems that you have been a part of my life
forever, and I treasure that. Just know that
no matter where this road of life leads us, I
am right there with you. And when that day
comes when I must go on that final journey,
I will take you with me in my heart.
