La Petite Poems
Bittersweet
Crimson roses
fail to bloom
it's cold in February
and chocolate can be bitter
when love is denied
like an unopened
valentine...
Waiting
It is nigh unto forever,
she waits.
A promise held dear
shall be fulfilled this nightfall.
A tryst in time, rapturous reprieve.
Then, as a shadow
he will merge again into darkness
cloaked in nevermore.
And yet next eventide
her ceaseless wait
begins anew....
REVERIE
Wander where the thoughts are sent
clouds of black now silver tint
Portents of doom dissipate
dreams of magic resonate
Hero arrives, magnificent
loved attained to cease lament
Forever they live happily
but just within the reverie
LIPS

Red lips
pouting
taste of wine
shimmer of stain
they have much
to say and do
just
ask...
KNOWLEDGE
I know
you love me
the fact
that you
don't know
is just a
technicality
ALL

He is all to me and more
yet not the least aware
Of open heart still sighing
I know not if he cares.
With words, he revives my heart
casually as rainfall
Opens doors I tried to close
Yes he is still my all.
All of what, the sane would ask
and I, without answers
Only knowing needs remain
though heart still be in tatters.
Chocolate Eyes
Her chocolate eyes and ruby lips
await his next arrival
His eyes of peridot can see
the love awaiting, carnal.
Still eyes seek out his eyes alone
but seems his are not seeing
She takes a look into his soul
not sure who he is being.
The man of passion,love,and fire?
or the one of frigid ice
He's both, and then he's neither one
The mystery of her life...
Cross the bridge to find poems
about surviving the end of love
