I am at the first (of what will seem too many) brick walls with my Cook Family search.  I started this project (affectionately named FINDING MY WAY TO GRANDPA NOAH'S... referring to our common ancestor after the Great Flood of the Bible) at the beginning of this new year.
My husband is the grandson of a Kentucky born Cook.  Here's what I have.  My husband, Robert C. Cook (b. in DeWitt Co., IL) to Carl Hubert Cook (b. 1911, Monroe, KY, m. Twila M. Rolofson in DeWitt Co., IL in 1941) to Charles B. Cook (b. abt 1870s in Green Co, KY, m. Maud Tucker in Hart Co, KY abt. 1890s).  BRICK WALL!  I found date of death information on Maud, but nothing on Charles as yet.  Would like to have more to work with going back in time there!
Coincidentally, I'm from the Cook line, too.  My mother is Lois Cook Beaugrand (b. Van Buren Co., MI, m. Stanley E. Beaugrand,) daughter of Warren A. Cook (b. 1896, Van Buren Co., MI, m. Alice L. Erickson abt. 1920s) son of Charles A. Cook (b.1872, Van Buren Co., MI, m. Hatti S. Jennings, 1894) son of Richard F. Cook (b. 1838, Van Buren Co., m. Letitia J. Ridenour 1863).  BRICK WALL.  (I realize these Michiganders don't fit your KY -TN profile needs -- but maybe someone jumped the Mason-Dixon Fence and it might help if they could have this information!)
