Moucher was found by our sons in 1971 or 72. He was left in the house when owners moved. He was a funny little guy, hated to be caged, was easy to train and he loved to make people laugh so he would do something over and over if he got a chuckle. One of the things he liked to do was to wait until "Dad" was sitting in his chair, reading the paper. He would jump to the middle of it each time a page was turned, until it got close to the last page, then when he jumped he would go right through as the paper wouldn't hold him.You would think he would get hurt or scared, but he never did. He also liked to wait for the boys to brush their teeth,as toothpaste tasted so good! He would grab the brush and be on the top of the doorway in an instant, eat the toothpaste, then drop the brush on the floor.Moucher loved the color red and went for anything that color, if he could carry it--it was gone! When I came home after work he liked to take everything out of my purse, looking for gum (or any other treat I brought him) He would chew the gum (little bits at a time) until the flavor was gone, then it went to the floor.(I could never get him to put things in the waste basket.ha!) Animals like Moucher (or any wild creature) should not be captured to sell in pet stores or worse! They should be left to live their life as intended- FREE--. I loved the little guy but would never go looking for another!
This little clipart sums up what Moucher thought of life.
