I've never really had a nickname (well, except for the various variations on Bruce that my family comes up with), and I doubt I ever will. I wouldn't feel comfortable using a nickname; my name describes me as well as any. Also, If I feel strongly enough about an opinion that I want to tell the world, I want my name attached to it. This doesn't mean I think people using nicknames shouldn't; it just means a nickname isn't right for me. Bruce
