wabbit came about because of my "different" sort of personality.....the "odd" girl or "scwewy wabbit" of bugs bunny fame....k2 got added because of my love of the mountains. k2 is the second highest mountain in the world...none the lesser than everest in majesty, more difficult technically, but willing to take second billing!

Kaoswirl came from me just contemplating a particular fractal. I
know, sounds silly, but try it. Not much to that one, but it is
quite personal.
Cybergypsy came from a friend who used to say that that name described me in that I am a technophile, but I am still a wanderer and one with nature. I am also fascinated by ancient cultures, but I live completely in the information age. I like how he noticed the juxtapositions of these facets of my lives and gave a name to them.

It ain't just a Online nickname; it's my name that everyone calls me by. One day me and some of my friends got together and we decided we should have names for ourselves instead of our usual lame names.
We are all named after history figures just like the Outlawz did. All our lastnames are Makavelli...after the war strategist (Machiavelli) and Tupac Amaru Shakur whose name who we all hold in great favour. That's my story.

Hi there! I'm another "non-nicknamed" person. I took my first and last name initials for my online name. It has a certain air of mystery about it, I guess, but it's also "me". KD

Well I obviously choose my name from the X-files, just 'cause I love the character of Krycek, even though i spelled my name differently from the character (this was a conscious(sp) choice on my part.) My other net alias, which I use pretty much every where else (I made up on the spot while creating my webpage) is Omni Crash. -

Posted by The Patient Gardener on Wed, 14 Apr 1999, at 8:03 p.m.,it became too confusing to keep the personalities separate. (And the Posts) SO now I am just The Gardener. I know of several that have customized their nicks for many reasons, the most common being the limited length of a nick in some places. Sometimes I am known as TPG because even TheGardener is too long. I have noticed that several of the posters have their own website (or perhaps a favorite one.) I will be checking them out. I hope that I do not get "spoiled." I missed the 5th and 6th seasons due to local problems. Thanks for your story.

Posted by Krycheck on Thu, 15 Apr 1999, at 2:54 p.m.I've never had that problem before, besides being Omni Crash and Krycheck, I have several other net names that I'd rather not specify. None of which I've had any trouble keeping straight. I guess I just have a knack for it.
