I use the online name because it says something about my Ethnic origins. A lot of Africans and Afro-Caribbean's (my parents included) moved to England in the 60s to study, visit the so-called motherland. Some moved to the North of England (Liverpool) but most moved to London. The London guys moved to South London, most living in Brixton. Anytime I had an online
conversation with someone and told them were I lived the chat tone. Strai8 away I was figured as Black and the convo got flavoured in that direction. I found this intriguing and decided the ol' name (theblackgodobiwan) had to go. Something simpler and descriptive. Another reason...

I've been a Prince fan for 15+ years. It's a connection of two of his songs , "Orion" from the Batman soundtrack - "Arms of Orion" and "river" from Emancipation - "The Holy River" I have a real emotional attachment to these songs and I think about my missing daughter and her mother when I listen to them.
