My online name came to me one day while chatting with a friend
online and I started singing That's Amore. But because it was
online, I was afraid he wouldn't get the full accented effect. So
I sang like this: when the-e moon-a heeets yer eye-a like-a big-a peetsa pie, that's amor-e!
So I tried out Peetsa Pie and voila! my new screenname...

since I hate pizza. haha

How I chose my online name ...
I chose my name in a hurry. I really didn't put a lot of thought into it.
I was reading a book in the"The Cat Who...." series and she was a character in it. I have since been reminded that Penelope is also a name in Homer's "The Odyssey".

The Realm of Ashfire...Home of her Lady, PhoeniX FireBird
It was in high school when I came up with PxFBird. A couple of friends and I were sitting in science class and I mentioned the X-men (the cartoon show that was on Fox) and we got to talking about the comics, which I had only had the privilege to read occasionally.
My friends all had X-Men that they kinda associtated themselves with. Melissa was Rogue and Nikki was Storm, the youngest of our li'l group was Jubilee, Jeremiah was Gambit (and he and Melissa went out for while) and Cork was Wolverine.
Well, I didn't have one yet and I brought up Jean Grey's character. Melissa and Nikki kinda laughed as they thought that she was a weakling. I disagreed and said that there were many times that she had saved the X-men from peril. Then I did a lot of catch reading to learn everything I could about the character of Jean and the other X-men. I felt that I had chosen well as the Phoenix code name fit with my own admiration for the mythical bird Phoenix. I had always loved to watch fire, the way that it flickered and a Phoenix is a bird so....when I first got online, I needed to think of a handle so I put all of it together and came up with Phoenix FireBird. That was a li'l too long to want to type though, so I abbreviated it with PxFBird. =) And that is the tale of my name.

In college, we distinguished between regular, dull 'fun' and raucus, wild 'fun with a capital PH'. Since I'm not just a fun guy, but a PHun guy, I use one variation or another of 'phungi' as my nickname. LOL

Well, I chose Pixie for a couple of reasons. First 'cause I love fairies and magic and all those enchanting, magical little beings. Also 'cause I help out at Brownies and Brownie isn't as nice as Pixie. Lastly 'cause I'm small and innocent looking with these huge blue eyes so it kind of suited me!

I chose the name Poetswrath because of my ability and force to write poetry among other things. I am a poet, a writer. The main theme in all my writing is a fine line, weaving between love and revenge. So I just took my label (poet) and combined it with my specialty (revenge, wrath). If "Poetswrath" was more than just a made-up word, if it was a three-dementional object, I would be that object. I am Poetswrath.

Being new to computers is general and signing up for my first chat room, every name I tried was taken, so starting a new medication I figured I would kill two birds with one stone----get a name nobody would have and remind myself to take it lol ! I didn't realize the grief I would cause myself tho lol ! Now everybody thinks I am emotionally unstable because of the drug!

My nickname happens to be pyawakit, but before anyone starts to think its bad, it's not. It comes from a book my great grandmother read and the movie of the same name, Bell, Book, and Candle. It happens to be the name of a cat.
