Puter's All Broken - just that, seems like something is always wrong with my computer Raggok - character from a roleplaying game book (almost like a god) :D Puter's Are Fun - just something I thought up real quick for a service...wonder why I don't get emails...hehe Shaachen - another character from a book I read and liked a lot a few others that I can't remember too. ;) I should try and think up one that sums me up completely but that's a little hard at times :D...and yes, I like using emoticons too much. Many years ago, I really loved the rock group YES. My favorite song was Siberian Khatru. When e-mail became popular (a couple of years ago or so), I knew right away what my "name" would be. It would be different, cool, & involve many things I liked, cats, music & something computer oriented. Hence the name siberkhat. However, because my provider only allowed 8 characters for my "name", I changed it to siberkat. Steven ![]() |

Siteht= Thetis : Nimph Very cool character. When starting on the Internet, I always used 'why' as my handle. It gave me a good line when people asked 'Why, 'why'' ? Why not. But I feel, and I trust that I am not alone in this, that, eventually you need to find something more interesting and original. So looking through a greek mythological dictionary I chose names and characters I liked and respected and worked from there. Sire Siteht has become me. And I have become Sire Siteht. -Sire Siteht As you think, so you are. As you imagine, so you become. Anon. Top of Page ![]() |

My question? What was Galahad's first name, because Galahad was his "Sir" name? Top of Page ![]() |
Oct. 16, 2000 Hey Pat, I was looking for a site with British first names for an elven character in my upcoming comic when I happened upon your site. Intrigued, I thought I'd answer your inquiry about my Net Name. Well, I usually tell people that I just made it up out off the top of my head one day, but now that I think about it, I think there was an influence happening there. I had recently at the time developed an interest in the Blues. Chicago, Delta, St. Louis, you name it. That's probably where my name came from, at least subconsiously. After a short run as Basil Fawlty, I debuted my handle about 5 years ago. I don't use it as much as I used to, but it's still in my email address just to keep it alive. Thanks for the time. Take care. -Smokestack Jones aka Glen Hallstrom Top of Page ![]() |
I've always been interested in the supernatural. Ever since I was old enough to comprehend movies, I've been watching supernatural thrillers. As well, I have a certain militaristic aspect to my persona so Spectare (kind of a scary, inivisble, untouchable feel to it) just seemed like a natural choice. However, the real way to spell the name is Spectre. For originality's sake, I have changed it slightly. So Spectare stuck and now it is my web alias. Thanx, Spectare Top of Page ![]() |
29-Dec-00 My nick name came from the very early days of the Spice Girls. I am a big fan (don't laugh), and my friend and I had our own flower name; mine was sunflower and hers was mandarin (the flower from the fruit). So I thought adding spicey to the front would be cool....and I know spicey is spelt spicy, but 'spice'y refers to the Spice Girls. That's it.... Top of Page ![]() |
10-Feb-2000 I got my AOL nick from a WWII book. The SPITFIRE was a funky little fighterplane that kicked Nazi ass and helped win the Battle of Britain. My other nicks are variations of my favorite film Matrix. BTW: Kewl site! Top of Page ![]() |
First my online name is Starshade. I didn't get it from anywhere, except my own brain. I started out with just Star, and wanted to add something to it; but, it took a while to figure out what. Well, I wanted it to sound kind of double-meaning. So, I chose something that would make the person, who saw the name, think twice. Since stars give off light, I chose shade, because it compliments the star in its meaning. The name can be taken many ways, but the reader must think about it, and that's all that counts. What it actually means, is controversial, and I don't think I want to tell what it really means. That would take all the mystery and fun out of things. ~Starshade~ Top of Page ![]() |
19-Aug-00 Lets see. My name is just regular "Sunny." I am a happy person usually, and get called Sunny a lot.. but, that is so dull. Sunny", very blah.. So I added a little zip to it. By adding "ian" to almost anything it makes the old, dull name sound kind of interesting and exotic. SO that is how I came up with Sunnyian. Quite interesting, eh? But shhhh, only the people who read this know it. :) Amanda Top of Page ![]() |
I'm not sure how I was really supposed to write you about MY net name (if there's a link on your home page or what...) My real name is Celina and I often go by that, but since very few people are called Celina I have another net name. I love my real name, though, because it's so unique and I like the sound of it. I'm from a country with 5.1 million inhabitants (Denmark) so there is actually a possibilty that I'll meet someone I know when I'm surfing the net. My net name is SweetSheDevil. The SheDevil part is inspired by a brand name "She Devil", which as far as I remember is goth inspired clothes and jewelery (can be bought in Hot Topic). I use the name because I'm into a lot of the gothic (and glam goth) culture...devils for example :o) and I've added "sweet" because I'm not a total bad-ass, into devil worshiping, or look goth...and I'm actually a sweet person ;o) Apart from that SheDevil can also be understood as something a little naughty/sexy...right? ;o) I used to call myself "Alien C" on the net since I can spell it with all the letters in "Celina", but people didn't know my sex right away so I gave it up. I like changing my name. Life is a journey and I like my net name to reflect what going on inside me at the moment. Take care, SweetSheDevil Top of Page ![]() |
