      My online name is Robt, because they wouldn't let me use punctuation marks, so that I could be "Robt." or even "Robt!" on rare occasions.

      Actually, my name is really Robert, of course. In a past job I found that I had to sign my name A LOT. So, in the period between getting tired of writing all six letters in my name and turning my signature into a squigly line that kind of looked like it MIGHT start with an "R," I adopted the abreviation for my name. At that point, I started using it all of the time, and even had it put on my name badges at work. It was different, it was kind of fun, and it just stuck.
