I think the Minbari are really cool, especially the Grey Council(well up to the part where they didn't help the others). That's how I picked the title satai.

Then I got to thinking, which was pretty hard (Smiley face),and thought if Sheridan & Delenn had a daughter which was named after Lennier what would it be? Reinnel, 'cause backwards it spells Lennier and he's so cool!

Also because my nickname would be Rei or Raye which is the name of a character on Sailor Moon. So it works on 2 levels.

Scorched Earth is a war tactic first used by the Greeks. Someone only inacts scorched earth when they are being chased by a greater force or are being cornered. It means that a retreating army destroys resources that may be usefull to the enemy. The Russian used this tact during the reign of Napoleon. Napoleon and his forces entered Russia with a powerfull army, the cold of the Russian winter was inacting a heavy toll on his forces, they were hoping that they could take the Russian captal and use it as a place to resupply and 'warm up'. When they got to the city all they found were ruins. The Russians had used the scorched earth tactic and burned their own city. Pres. Clark tried to use scorched earth on... well.... earth when sheridan had defeated his forces. Remember how the defence system turned on earth? You know the rest of the story.

I chose the username Sector 14 because I was very fascinated by the B5 episodes Babylon Squared, War Without End I, and War Without End II.

My nickname came to me a year ago when I discovered my gift to break/destroy/set fire to any and all spatulas that cross my path. I did not ask for it, yet it is my calling.

      Sounds kinda nifty too....

Well my online name is also my nick name. I got it from basically the way I act, sometimes I act like a saint, sometimes I act like a sinner, and since I liked the name it just stuck with me.

Wow, everybody has such a cool story behind their on-line names. Mine is a dull one. I chose my nickname-Masha, but it was taken, so I went through a lot of names and stopped on Tanya. It sounded like a cool name, it was Russian and reminded me of Ivanova (my hero).

I already described the story behind ALL my online B5 names (I have others that are not for B5) on that site Patient Gardener is talking about, so I won't do that again here. I just have a couple of comments:

Scorched Earth, Emperor Cartagia sorta parallelled Clark's decision at the end there when he decided to "let it (Centauri Prime) burn...let it all end...IN FIRE!" At least, the parallells hit ME upside the head very hard during that scene in endgame. The instant I saw the words "scorched Earth" on Clark's paper I started hearing Cartagia's voice again in my mind...

I chose my Nickname 'cos it's the name of the most evil renegade Timelord from the classic BBC sci-fi series Doctor Who. With laser pistol and T.C.E. (Tissue Compression Eliminator) he can deal with any who oppose his mad schemes.

I got mine from FF7. She's my favorite character on there.
