February 23, 2003
Dear Richard, One day in a forest, a hungry tiger caught a cunning fox. When the tiger was about to eat the fox, the fox told the tiger, 'I am the king of the great nature. I was sent here to rule all the animals. If you eat me, God will be very angry and you will get your punishment.' The tiger puzzled, 'How can I believe you?' The fox continued, 'Come after me, you can see all the animals scared and running away when they see me. Let me show you my power.' The tiger followed the fox. What the fox said appeared to be very true. Wherever they went, all the animals were frightened and at a dash. The tiger turned its mind and believed the fox's words. It didn't know that what the animals were actually afraid of was the tiger itself but not the fox. Richard, in everyday life, there are a lot of people acting like the fox. They make use of their positions to gain advantages. They misuse the power given to them. We should be smart and not be fooled. With love, Dad |
