Thai Dragon

This kite design has several very nice features to commend it:

• easy to build
• impressive appearance
• worry-free flying over a wide wind range
• simple transportation and assembly

I didn't use any specific plan, merely looking at Pelham for the general idea. The detailed specs of my kite are as follows:

• Material: Carrington, 4mm carbon spine, 3mm fibreglass hoop
• Size head: approx. 50 x 70cm
• Size tail: 14m

The tail is just a simple length of hot-cut ripstop - no hem. I didn't add any type of spreaders to the tail either, as some authors suggest. So far, I've been very happy with the result.
