A site for 'Pilgrim' bottle collectors and genealogists.

Hi ! My name is Paul Marchand and welcome to my home page. My interests are bottle collecting and genealogy, especially where the PILGRIM name is involved.

I specialize in bottles used by the Pilgrim Mineral Water companies (1848 - 1932). I have been collecting their bottles since 1989 when I learned that R.A.Pilgrim was my great-great grandfather. I enjoy collecting, researching and learning about the various bottles they used over their 84 years of operation.

I am also an amateur genealogist and when I cannot collect bottles, I'll collect and research the Pilgrim surnames in Ontario and other parts of Canada.

• April 2009 - Four Seasons Bottle Collectors Club of Toronto, ON.  Scott Jordan & I will be at the 16th Annual Toronto Bottle & Antique Show & Sale - Sunday, April 19, 2009 from 9:30am to 3:00pm at the Humber College Gymnasium, Toronto.
• April 26, 2009 - Ottawa's own Bytown Bottle Seekers Club, club member of the FOHBC, will hold their 36th annual show on at the Nepean Sportsplex, Ottawa.
• May 2009 - Ottawa Valley Insulator Collectors, a group of telephone and telegraph insulator collectors from varied backgrounds, get together informally for hikes and swapping sessions.  They will be holding the OVIC 2009 eleventh Annual Insulator Show and Sale on Saturday, May2, 2009 from 10:00am to 2:00pm at the Lion's Hall, Perth Fair Grounds in Perth, Ontario.
• October 2009 - Robin Newton-Smith will hold his 14^th and probably final Annual Cambridge Bottle Show. I found this to be a great bottle show !
