My First TG Event
My big adventure this month will definitely be Tiffany Club's first event, a 3-day event for us girls, at the Crowne Plaza in Woburn, MA. To start with I took Sofie's stuff down (Sofie Taylor of the Fantasy Girl, she was there giving makeovers). We pulled up to the lobby door and were greeted as ladies a big plus--- the hotel staff was so nice they couldn't do enough to make us happy. As for the ladies who were there were new bees, CDs, TVs, TSs, both pre-op and post-op. Over 100 makeovers, a pool party (indoor pool) banquet, fashion show a shopping trip to a local mall and classes.
Classes on therapy, divorce, coming out, transitioning on the job, it was all there. If you want to be yourself and learn about yourself I strongly suggest going to one of these events, they're all over the country. I met some girls and started some new friendships and also found some new business contacts, to sum it all up I had a ball a blast and felt like I was in heaven! Think my highlight was sitting in the main lobby, ground floor (the event was on the 3rd floor) talking to a CD for over an hour in public view. It was a high because we never got a dirty look or sly comment. On a personal side I still don t know how far this journey will take me, but I really don t care, because I'm enjoying every minute of it. I just wish every girl could be as fortunate as I am. My plan s for the future, well I don t plan to throw my clothes away that s for sure, ill continue to go to tri-ess meetings and be girly as often as possibly (which is most of the time anyway) and girls I do like to help others if I can. By no means do I have all the answers but at least i can try to help point you in the right direction. I've had trouble with the femail but here s the right address antmiss@aol.com so in closing, please be good to yourselves and hugs to all.
