Bitch

Beautiful-
But a fool.
Those were my first impressions, at least,
And first impressions last.
(Why they’re not Last Impressions, then,
Heaven only knows).

I must say,
I never liked her
Anyway.
Oh sure, I could feign
Indiference now
And again,
But she was a lucky cow
Anyhow
And surely didn’t need
Anyone else to feed
Her compliments.
Least of all me.
You see,
She was everything
A person should be:
Beautiful-
But a fool.
Harmless,
Witless,
And oblivious
To the Mind Mountains
Made by those who say they Know;
To the Fundamental Fountains
From which ideas flow;
To the Enlightened Innocence
In which the seeds of Greatness grow.

Beautiful-
But a fool.
Always following the Golden Rule:
Be seen,
But not heard;
Sin
But not be hurt.

Not ignorant of bliss,
However,
She would never miss
A good time,
And those around would say
"Hey, hey!
What a happy gal she is!"

Beautiful-
But a fool

Bitch.
