Leaf Falling Off Tree Poem

"Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
Look at me!
At meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
I’m falling,
Falling from a
Treeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!"

A leaf,
Aloof,
Spiraling past the roof,
Past low branches,
Past the door,
Look!
Look it’s falling
On the floor!

"See?
See me?
I’m so
I’m so free!
Falling,
Falling from a tree!"

A breeze,
Abuzz,
Rustling leaves, rustling fuzz,
Making noises
Here and there,
Listen!
Listen - sounds are
Everywhere!

"Can’t you hear me?
Hallo there!
I’m falling,
Falling
Singing
Through the air!

"It’s so fun-
Oh! Such fun!-
Won’t you join me?
Join me on my
Run?
Run from
Top to toe
Of an oh, so, so
Tall tree,
We’ll learn and grow,
Forget all we know,
Just you ‘n me
So?

"So?
Will you?
Will you go?
Will you come?
Will you, will you?
Will you hum
A humble tune
And fall,
And fall with me,
So happ’ly
Happ’ly
From a
Treeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee?"
