Together

Together
To get her
They tried.
Together
To get her
They lied.
They put an ad in the paper,
But no-one wanted a part in their caper:
No buxom
Lass
For their threesome-
Alas!-
But together
To get her
They tried.

Butterfly

Cocooned
In a
Sleeping bag,
Perhaps tomorrow
I’ll wake
A butterfly.
