Possible child of Nathan Abernethy and Eve Cline surmised by the separate
research efforts of Miss Rozella Abernethy and Rev. Edward Smith.
However, the fact that he is buried at the Abernethy family cemetery in
Gaston County, NC may lead to the discovery that he is related to the
family of James S. Abernethy, buried there.

Abernethy family cemetery in Gaston Co., NC - on Turner Rd. (S.R. 2005),
go .7 mile - site is in large oak grove about 30 yds. off left side of
road.
Graves of family members, many unmarked.
