CIVIL WAR VETERAN IS DEAD AT PAW CREEK
James Monroe Love, 83, a Civil war veteran, died at his home in Paw Creek yesterday morning following a brief illness.
The funeral will be held at Paw Creek Presbyterian church this afternoon at 2 o’clock with Rev. C. H. Rowan, the pastor, officiating.
Mr. Love served during the Civil war in c. He is survived by his widow and the following sons and daughters: F. A. Love, J. L. Love, L. H. Love, J. A. Love, R. A. Love, W. M. Love, M. H. Love, A. M. Love, all of Charlotte, W. R. Love of Newport News, Va., C. M. Love of Augusta, Ga., Misses Margaret, Ida and Eunice Love of this city.


AGED VETERAN DIED AT PAW CREEK HOME
James Monroe Love, aged 83, died this morning at his home in Paw Creek this morning at 4 o'clock after a brief illness.
Mr. Love was a veteran of the Civil War, serving in Company F 5th NC Cavalry. Funeral plans are incomplete.
He leaves his widow, who formerly was Miss Ruth Ann Hipp, of Mecklenburg County, and the following sons and daughters - F. A. Love, J. L. Love, L. H. Love, J. A. Love, R. A. Love, W. M. Love, M. H. Love, and A. M. Love, all of Charlotte; W. R. Love, of Newport News, Va., and C. M. Love of Augusta, Ga.; and Misses Margaret Love, Ida Love and Eunice Love of this city.
