Notes for Macon Hamilton Love

Mr. Macon H. Love, age 77 of 501 Toddville Road, died Sunday, January 6, 1980 in Presbyterian Hospital. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 8, 1980 in Homestead United Methodist Church, conducted by the Rev. Erman F. Bradley officiating. Burial will be in Paw Creek Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Mr. Love was born July 11, 1902 in Paw Creek, son of the late James M. Love and Ruth Ann Hipp Love. He was a member of the Homestead United Methodist Church, retired from Leakesville Woolen Mills after 42 years of service. Surviving are his wife, Naomi H. Love, two sisters, Mrs. Ida Hall of Windy Hill, SC and Mrs. B.B. Sisk of Charlotte; three brothers, Avery M. Love, J. Arthur Love and Roy Love all of Charlotte. Honorary pallbearers will be the members of the Happy Sunday School Class of Homestead Methodist Church. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9:00 p.m. Monday at McEwen.
