Notes for Avery Monroe Love

Attended Hartgrove School in Mecklenburg county in 1918. School was located in Moore's Chapel community, and included grades 1-5. Class picture appears in "The Charlotte Observer," Wednesday, July 13, 1988, Mecklenburg Neighbors section, p.10.

Mr. Avery Monroe Love, 88, of Wesley Nursing Center died there Nov. 7,1992. Funeral is 11 a.m. Monday at Harry and Bryant Funeral Home. Burial will be in Sharon Memorial Park. Visitation is 4 to
5:30 p.m. today.
Mr. Love, a Charlotte native, retired from Duke Power Co. after 43 years and was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Works for 55 years. He was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church and its Best Years Club.
Survivors are his son, Avery Love Jr.; sister, Mrs. Eunice Sisk; one grandson.
