Notes for Sarah Eliza Rankin

Discrepancies were found between sources as to date of birth - the date
used in this data is shown on the cemetery marker.

Sarah Elizabeth Rankin carried to her grave the identity of the father of
her first two children, William Washington Rankin and Nancy Rankin.
Nevertheless, the children were accepted fully as grandchildren by their
grandfather John Butch Rankin, and were accepted into the family when
