Notes for Zella Elizabeth Roseman

As of July 1996, 14 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Zella is remembered fondly by the children of her sister, Iva Roseman Joy, as "being a rip" with a great sense of humor, and keeping everyone laughing.

She and Mark lived in many locations, lastly in the Weddington neighborhood east of Charlotte, NC, adjacent to one of their children.

Obituary from "The Charlotte Observer," Thursday, January 11, 1979:
Mrs. Zella Roseman Blakely, 83, of 2925 Weddington Rd., Matthews, died Tuesday. Funeral is 2 p.m. today at McEwen West Chapel.
Survivors are sons, George Blakely, Billy Blakely; daughters, Miss Thelma Blakely, Mrs. R. B. Bryan, Jr.; sister, Mrs. O. F. Joy.
