William Moore, Private, Captain, North Carolina Militia, $70.00 annual
allowance, $210.00 amount received, September 21, 1833 pension started,
age 83.

[The following information is from a manuscript in the collection of the
Gaston County Library which is entitled: The Moore Family of North
Carolina Dates - 1742 Descendants of John Moore Settled in Tryon County
1754 Near Stanley, North Carolina. The manuscript was compiled by Robert
Cope and contributed by Jack Moore of Stanley, North Carolina to the
William Gaston Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution. The
manuscript appears to be a collection of the compiler's writings and the
writings of others. Copied as shown.]
