According to census of 1910, Jane was living in Mecklenburg County Enumeration District 106 with "daughter" Mollie E., age 39, and grandson Thomas E., age 18.

MRS. JANE KISTLER'S FUNERAL THIS MORNING
The funeral of Mrs. Jane T. Kistler, widow of the late M. E. Kistler, will be held this morning at 11 o'clock at the Paw Creek church, the pastor, Rev. Mr. Rowan, in charge of the service.
Mrs. Kistler, who was 81 years old, had been in failing health for nearly a year, but recently contracted pneumonia, which caused her death.
She is survived by four sons and two daughters: J. I. Kistler of the county; R. A. Kistler of the county; George Kistler, Fayetteville; and D. L. Kistler, of Charlotte; Mrs. I. T. Abernethy, of Charlotte, and Mrs. W. A. Johnston, of the county. Twenty-seven grandchildren also survive.
