Notes for Sarah D. Love

Sarah D. "Sallie" Love was enumerated in the household of John Scott
Love in 1850, 1860 and 1870. Since John Scott Love lost his wife Jane
Hoover in 1846, it is probable that Sarah helped him raise his children.
There is no record of John Scott Love remarrying after the death of his
wife Jane.
S. D. Love, a female age 64, was enumerated in the household of
James Monroe Love in 1880. She was listed as his aunt. This was Sarah
D. Love, sister of John Scott Love.
