"Joseph Hipp most likely married twice, settled in Newberry Co. then Laurens Co. later Anderson Co. (all of SC.) He died in Cass County (later Bartow), Georgia."

Anita Kerce Hatcher, a descendant of Joseph, gives his year of birth as circa 1756.
