Notes for William Marr Lemmond

William Marr "Billy" Lemmond came to America from Antrim, Ireland about 1730 [ref: The Waxhaw Enterprise by Ney McNeely - RML]. He settled in Rowan County, NC in the early 1750s. He was in Captain Alex Osburn's Militia Company as of 30 October 1759 [ref: N. C. State Records Book 22 Page 395 - RML].
